Day 01: Arrival in Bangalore
Arrive at Bangalore, the capital city of Karnataka. Transfer to your hotel and check-in. Spend the afternoon exploring the city’s attractions like Lalbagh Botanical Garden, Iskon Temple and Vidhan Soudha. Enjoy the vibrant food scene and bustling markets at Commercial Street to hop for shopping. Overnight stay in Bangalore.
Day 02: Bangalore – Mysore
After breakfast, drive to Mysore, known for its rich heritage and royal history. Pay an afternoon visit to the Mysore Zoo, the magnificent Mysore Palace, a grand structure that showcases the city’s architectural beauty. Explore the beautiful Brindavan Gardens in the evening famous for its lush greenery, the musical fountain and light show that adds attraction. Dinner and overnight stay in Mysore.
Day 03: Mysore – Coorg
After breakfast, depart for Coorg (also known as Kodagu), a picturesque hill station. Enroute, visit the Kushal Nagar golden temple, Tibetan colony, Nisarga Dama etc. Reach Coorg and enjoy the evening at leisure, exploring the scenic surroundings. Overnight stay in Coorg.
Day 04: Coorg
Spend the day exploring the natural beauty of Coorg. Visit the breathtaking Abbey Falls, known for its cascading waters amidst the lush greenery. Explore the coffee plantations and learn about the coffee-making process. Enjoy a trek to Raja’s Seat, a scenic viewpoint offering panoramic views of the Coorg landscape. Immerse yourself in the tranquility of Coorg’s natural surroundings. Overnight stay in Coorg.
Day 05: Coorg – Ooty
After breakfast Depart for Ooty, a popular hill station in Tamil Nadu. Enjoy the scenic drive through the Nilgiri Hills, Mudumalai forest and Bandipur forest witnessing the tea gardens and picturesque landscapes. Reach Ooty and spend the evening at leisure, shop or start exploring the charming town. Overnight stay in Ooty.
Day 06: A Day in Ooty
Explore the beauty of Ooty on this day. Visit the Botanical Gardens, built in 1847 and known for its variety of exotic plants and colorful flower beds. . Visit the famous Ooty Lake and enjoy a boat ride amidst the serene surroundings (own cost). Horse-back riding around the lake also is available (own cost). Back to hotel for dinner and overnight at Ooty.
Day 07: Departure
After breakfast, check out from your hotel. Transfer to Coimbatore/Bangalore Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey, carrying wonderful memories of your South India trip.
